Cashless claims settlement

We coordinate the paperwork, inspection, technology classification and repair of the damage under an agreed settlement model with the insurer. We work with individual clients, fleets, leasing companies and larger bodywork damage projects.

One coordinated process instead of many separate steps

Claims handling isn't just about repairing the car. The process covers reporting the claim, gathering documentation, inspection, determining the scope of damage, a cost estimate, agreements with the insurer, the actual repair, and closing the paperwork. Clevermot combines these steps with practical knowledge of bodywork repairs and PDR technology.

For accident and hail damage, we first determine what actually needs repairing. If a panel is suitable for PDR, we aim to preserve the factory coating. When the paint is cracked or the deformation needs more extensive technology, the scope is classified differently. This way the documentation and cost estimate reflect the actual repair method.

The cashless model can look different for a third-party liability claim, an AC claim, or a leased or fleet vehicle. What matters is the policy terms, the insurer's liability, the deductible, the leasing company's approval, and the settlement path chosen. That's why we don't promise one identical process for every case - we first review the documents and the current stage of the claim.

For fleets and larger projects, the service can cover multiple vehicles at once. In that model, schedules, repair statuses, documentation and minimising downtime all become important. We agree the scope of reporting with the business client before the project begins.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about claims settlement

What does cashless claims settlement involve?
In this model, the workshop or party handling the claim coordinates the repair and settlement according to the agreed procedure. The exact rules depend on the policy, the insurer's liability and the specific case.
Can a claim be settled cashlessly under both third-party liability and AC?
These models work for both the at-fault party's liability insurance and AC cover, but the procedures and conditions can differ. For AC claims, the specific policy wording is especially important.
Can I always choose the workshop?
In many cases yes, but leasing agreements, fleet contracts or certain policy variants may come with additional conditions. It's worth checking these before starting the repair.
Why can the insurer's cost estimate differ from the workshop's inspection?
The differences can come from damage not visible in photos, additional dismantling, the panel material, or a different technology classification. With hail damage, some dents are only visible under the PDR light.
Is a claim always repaired with PDR?
No. We use PDR where the condition of the paint and metal allows it. In other cases we choose a different technology.
Do you handle leased vehicles and fleets?
Yes. The scope can cover paperwork, schedules, vehicle statuses, documentation, and organising a larger number of repairs.
Can I order the repair after the payout has already been made?
Yes, but the next steps depend on how the claim was settled and whether any additional damage has come to light. It's worth reviewing the case documentation first.
