PDR training - Warsaw

We run PDR training for individuals and businesses from Warsaw who want to learn paintless dent removal or build on skills they already have. In-person classes take place at Clevermot in Królewiec, and for company teams, training at the client's own site can also be arranged once the technical conditions are agreed.

A PDR course for participants from Warsaw

The programme isn't just a tool demonstration. PDR requires mastering how to work with the light, orienting the tool tip under the panel, controlling how much pressure you apply, and recognising the moment when further work could make the result worse. That's why we build the training around repeatable, practical exercises.

For beginners, we start from the basics. Experienced participants can work on more difficult body lines, limited access, the glue-pulling technique, aluminium, or hail damage.

Individual training or training for a workshop

An individual participant can focus on their specific technical gaps and their own learning pace. For company training, we adapt the programme to the type of repairs the team carries out, the tools they have, and how they plan to use PDR in the workshop.

For companies from Warsaw, it's also possible to arrange classes at their own site, if the available workspace and conditions allow the practical part to be run safely.

The scope can include

  • setting up and reading the PDR light
  • working with rods and hooks
  • controlling high points
  • the glue-pulling technique
  • classifying damage for PDR
  • difficult body lines, aluminium and hail damage at an advanced level

Matching the training level to the participant's experience

Someone starting from zero needs a different programme from a bodywork technician who's worked with panels for years but is only now taking up PDR. At the start, the most important things are orienting the tool relative to the reflection under the light, controlling individual pushes, and understanding how the metal responds to correction. Only on that basis does it make sense to increase the difficulty.

With experienced participants, we can move faster to body lines, limited access, the glue-pulling technique, aluminium, or organising work across a larger number of dents. Before driving from Warsaw, we establish the training goal, so class time is spent on exercises the individual or the team actually needs.

What practical training gives you that theory alone doesn't

PDR is a manual skill. You can know how the light and tools work in theory and still not have the control needed to carry out a repair. During the class, the instructor sees whether the participant is correctly locating the tool tip, how hard they're pressing, whether they're creating high points, and at what point they should change direction.

That kind of immediate correction shortens the path to correct habits. The participant doesn't just get told the result isn't good enough - they understand exactly which movement, light setting, or order of work led to it.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does the training take place in Warsaw?
Standard in-person training runs in Królewiec. For company teams from Warsaw, we can arrange on-site classes individually.
Can someone with no experience sign up for the course?
Yes. The basic programme can start from complete fundamentals of working with the light and the tool.
Can I bring my own tools?
Yes, if you'd like to get feedback on your own equipment. We provide training tools for the agreed programme.
Is the course enough to repair any dent straight away?
No. The training builds a solid foundation, but difficult cases require further practice and repetition.
Does the training end with a certificate?
Yes. Participants receive a Clevermot certificate of completion showing the scope of the course.
Can I bring my own car from Warsaw for a hands-on consultation?
Working on a specific vehicle needs to be agreed in advance. The training programme has to offer safe and educationally useful exercises, so not every piece of damage is suitable as a first practice case.
Should I buy a full set of tools straight after the course?
It's best to match your equipment to the services and techniques you plan to offer and to what you've practised on the course. During training we can discuss which tools are genuinely needed at your current stage.
